Livetime warranty
The Jiffle wagon is designed and manufactured so that you can use the stroller for years, even as your family grows. That is why The Jiffle offers the original owner a lifetime warranty on The Jiffle wagon, in addition to the 2-year manufacturer's warranty.
What is covered by the manufacturer's warranty?
The Jiffle wagon comes with a 2-year manufacturer's warranty from the date of purchase. This warranty covers material and manufacturing defects for the following parts:
- The chassis, frame, and wheels;
- The stroller adapters;
- The seat safety harness;
- The seams of the upholstery;
- The buckles and zippers;
- The colorfastness of the fabrics. (Discoloration of fabrics due to normal wear and tear or usage is not covered by the manufacturer's warranty.)
What is covered by the lifetime warranty?
After the first 2 years, you can rely on our lifetime warranty. This applies to material and manufacturing defects on all hard parts of The Jiffle wagon, such as the frame, chassis, wheels, and the components of the seat and carrycot.
Zippers, seams, and other upholstery parts are not covered by the lifetime warranty.
When do the manufacturer's warranty and lifetime warranty expire?
There are exceptions to the manufacturer's warranty. In these cases, the warranty will be voided:
- Defects caused by ordinary wear and tear, such as wheels and fabrics wearing out from everyday use, scratches on the aluminum and/or metal, and natural discoloration of materials that occurs over time.
- Damage caused by accidents, improper use, negligence, fire, contact with liquids, or any other external cause.
- Damage resulting from failure to follow the user manual, instructional videos, or other guidelines from The Jiffle.
- Damage caused by another product, including accessories.
- Damage caused by service or repair by someone who is not an official representative of The Jiffle.
- Theft.
- Damage caused by air transport or freight damage.

Two-year warranty on accessories
The legal warranty period applies to accessories for The Jiffle wagon, such as car seat adapters, footmuff, wagon seat, rain cover, and insect net. We care about our products and naturally do our best to deliver them in top condition. However, it is possible that an order may break during transport or that something else happens that entitles you to a warranty claim.
Under European law, we are liable for any lack of conformity that becomes apparent within a period of two years after delivery of the goods. You may have additional rights under Dutch law.
When you discover or should have discovered a defect in the product, you must contact us within a reasonable period. A reasonable period is at least two months. Under certain circumstances, a period longer than two months may also be acceptable. If you contact us in a timely manner, we will arrange for a free repair or replacement.
Need a warranty? Here is how it works
Keep your original personalized proof of purchase with the date of purchase in a safe place, as you will need this if you wish to make a claim under the (lifetime) warranty for any material and manufacturing defects.
If you purchased the product in our webshop, please contact us immediately. We will then discuss how it can be resolved as quickly as possible.
If you did not purchase it through our webshop but elsewhere? Then please contact the (web) store where you bought the product. If the defect is a material or manufacturing flaw covered by the warranty, the retailer will send the product to The Jiffle b.v. We will then arrange for a repair or, if necessary, a replacement part or product.
If it concerns normal wear and tear that is not covered by the warranty, consult the retailer where you bought the product about potential solutions. If the retailer cannot help you, please contact The Jiffle.
Complaints procedure
Sometimes things might not go exactly as planned at The Jiffle, and you may want to bring this to our attention or file a complaint. We recommend that you contact us. You can make a complaint known to us by sending an email to contact@thejiffle.com. We will do our best to find a solution.
If this does not lead to a solution, it is possible to register your dispute for mediation via the independent disputes committee of Stichting WebwinkelKeur.
As of February 15, 2016, it is also possible for consumers in the EU to submit complaints via the European Commission's ODR platform. This ODR platform can be found at http://ec.europa.eu/odr. If your complaint is not yet being handled elsewhere, you are free to lodge your complaint via the European Union's platform.
